JOB DESCRIPTION
- Monitor the progress of goods delivery and receipt, and update customers and relevant departments on shipping status.
- Coordinate with the field department, customs clearance, warehousing, and transport companies to handle any issues that arise during transportation.
- Verify and cross-check documents from vendors, suppliers, etc.
- Compile transportation costs, check quotes and payment documents from vendors.
- Maintain records and transportation documents in accordance with company regulations.
- Prepare shipping volume reports as requested by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in transport documentation, dispatch, Customer Service Logistics, or Forwarding is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of container shipping, less-than-container load (LCL) cargo, and import/export operations.
- Proficient in Excel and other office software.
- Careful, responsible, and capable of tracking multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with partners and transportation companies.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in logistics/forwarder companies.
