The program is designed to promote more sustainable freight transport practices, improve cargo flow efficiency, and reduce the environmental impact on communities surrounding ports.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Chi_Tiet_Danh_Muc_Dau_Tu\"><\/span><strong>Investment Portfolio Details<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>According to the plan, the funds will be used to invest in and put into operation zero-emission equipment, including:<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf 61 zero-emission cargo handling equipment.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf 21 charging stations.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf 6 inland waterway vessels with zero emissions.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf 5 environmentally friendly port service vessels.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf 1 zero-emission locomotive.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Port of Long Beach, this investment will help accelerate the transition to zero-emission operating systems and support the goal of making Long Beach the world&#039;s first zero-emission port.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tiep_Tuc_Day_Nhanh_Lo_Trinh_Chuyen_Doi_Xanh\"><\/span><strong>Continue to Accelerate the Green Transition Roadmap<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Sharing his investment plans, Dr. Noel Hacegaba, CEO of the Port of Long Beach, emphasized: \u201cExpanding our portfolio of clean technologies is crucial to the future of cargo handling and contributes to protecting the health of the communities surrounding the port.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also affirmed the port&#039;s commitment to accelerating the transition to zero-emission technology: &quot;We are shaping the future by deploying the most advanced zero-emission equipment today.&quot;\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Echoing this sentiment, Frank Colonna, Chairman of the Port of Long Beach Commission, stated that the new funding will further build upon the effectiveness of SWIFT&#039;s previous investment programs.
